Words are our passion and books our longtime companions. Nothing beats the intimacy of climbing between the covers with the author of your choice and letting yourself be taken by the yarn being spun. Our blog will help you pick and choose among the many stories out there to find your perfect match for the evening, the weekend or your vacation. Maybe you’ll even find a friend to come back to again and again using our reviews, criticisms and conversations with authors and publishers. We promise to tell the truth as we see it, with a positive and constructive attitude, and we vow never to substitute snark for an honest opinion just to get a good line off.

Following the long-standing practice of publishers, many of the books we review at Out in Print are sent to us free of charge. We receive no direct compensation for the reviews. Whether we are dealing with publishers, authors or advertisers, we insist on our editorial independence.

You can also contact us via email at queerreviews@outinprint.net. Please note that our acceptance of your book doesn't guarantee a published review. Once the book is received our editorial staff will make the decision on whether or not to move forward with a review.
